My Story

I'm Tamantha McInnis, founder of The Know-It-All, and my work is rooted in real experience. I’ve lived the messy, beautiful, exhausting moments life throws at us—and I’ve spent decades helping others navigate them, too.

I grew up on the Standard American Diet (S.A.D.), raised myself as a latchkey kid, and didn’t learn much about real health or self-worth until adulthood. Then, in 2011, my best friend died at just 34 years old—an event that changed everything. As a divorced mom of two young children, I realized I had to take charge of my health, my habits, and my future, because nobody could do it for me. I began researching, learning, and reshaping my life from the inside out.

That journey led me to become a Certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, but I didn’t stop there. Over the years, I’ve mentored teens, coached families, supported parents, and taught emotional intelligence, organization, and resilience in ways that actually stick. My clients range from overwhelmed moms to confused high schoolers to busy professionals who just need a system that works.

I’ve also walked through plenty of challenges of my own. My daughter has battled food allergies, gut issues, concussions, and POTS. My son was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder and autism. I’ve faced obesity, migraines, anxiety, and more, along with burnout, and a long list of “figure-it-out-yourself” life moments. That’s what makes my approach different... I don’t coach from theory. I coach from experience.

Alongside my personal journey, I’ve built a professional one. I served in the U.S. Army, worked my way up in retail and restaurant management, homeschooled my children, earned an MBA in Organizational Management, an MS in Data Science, and a BS in Computer Forensics. I’ve managed crisis situations, opened new business locations, turned around failing ones, and mentored teams through everything from customer meltdowns to life goals.

Today, I blend all of that into one mission: to help people live better, simpler, stronger lives. Through one-on-one coaching, workshops, speaking, and writing, I bring structure to chaos and compassion to overwhelm.
