FAQs
Whether you're curious about coaching, classes, custom art, or what exactly a "practicality coach" does—I’ve put together answers to some of the most common questions I get. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to help you find what you’re looking for.
Q: Are you a doctor or therapist?
A: No, I’m not a licensed doctor or therapist. I’m a certified holistic health coach and a practicality coach with years of real-world experience in leadership, wellness, life skills, and education. My role is to guide, encourage, and equip people with realistic tools—not to diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions.
If you're dealing with something that may require clinical or therapeutic support, I’ll always encourage you to reach out to a qualified professional. What I offer is practical, down-to-earth help for everyday life—sometimes that’s exactly what you need alongside professional care.

Q: Do you accept health insurance?

A: No, because I'm not a medical practitioner, I cannot accept health insurance. However, health coaching may be eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement with a Letter of Medical Necessity from your healthcare provider. Ask your provider if this is right for you.

Q: Does HIPAA apply to coaching?

A: No, coaching is not considered medical or mental health treatment, so HIPAA does not apply. However, I take privacy seriously and treat all client information with care and discretion.
Q: What kind of services do you offer?
A: I offer coaching, workshops, and practical guidance on real-life topics—from life skills and organization to financial literacy, health coaching, etiquette, and more. If it helps people feel more capable and confident, it probably fits under The Know-It-All umbrella.
Q: Do you work with individuals or groups?
A: Both! I offer one-on-one coaching, small group sessions, classroom visits, community presentations, and custom curriculum development. Just let me know what you need, and we’ll build from there.
Q: What ages do you work with?
A: I work with teens through adults, and I offer age-appropriate classes for each group. Some services are tailored specifically for youth, while others are for college-age, adults, or parents. However, I require written permission from a parent or legal guardian before working with anyone under 18. A parent must also be involved in the intake process and informed of all session topics.

Q: Is coaching for minors confidential?

A: While minors are entitled to a level of privacy in their coaching sessions, parents or guardians have the legal right to be informed. To build trust and make sessions productive, I maintain confidentiality regarding specific conversations unless there is a safety concern. I provide parents with regular updates on general progress and session themes, and I welcome parent communication at any time.
Q: Are your etiquette classes about manners?
A: Not exactly. While manners matter, my etiquette classes focus more on helping people feel confident and comfortable in unfamiliar situations—like interviews, formal events, or professional communication. It’s about preparation, not perfection.
Q: Can I book a custom session?
A: Absolutely. Whether you need help preparing for a specific situation or want to create a class for your group, I’m happy to work with you on a custom plan. Just reach out!
Q: How do I book a session or class?
A: Email me at info@theknowitall.org with what you’re looking for. I’ll respond within 1–2 business days to coordinate details.
Q: Do you sell products too?
A: Yes! I offer a curated collection of practical items—including household tools, wellness goods, journals, and original art. You’ll find links to shop on the main site under “Store” or “Art & Creative Outlets.”
Q: Do you travel for in-person classes?
A: I’m based in Polk County, Wisconsin, and available for local events and workshops. Travel outside the area may be possible—just send a message and we’ll talk details.
